I agree. I painted regularly a few years ago, and then looking after my wife while she was ill, and continuing to work, stopped me. After dementia took my wife away, I eventually took early retirement, and I've been trying to get back to feeling as confident with a paintbrush as I once was.

It's looking pretty consistent to me. I find that I feel happy with something one day, then the next time I try it, it looks abysmal. I need more practice, I suppose.

Lovely work. I hope I can achieve such consistency one day.
