I just saddled her with like a 400-word response; apologies
I can't be the first person to hear "Angie Craig" and assume it was an in-joke about finding home services on the Internet
There are fewer than 3500 billionaries on a planet that eats 132,000,000,000 lb of beef a year.
It's not the job of science to instill the simple pleasures of the proletariat with virtue. And we can expect a working class person to be way likelier to die from unstable climate than a plutocrat.
Could you explain your understanding of how personal conviction and budget for television ad slots are related
The last political TV ad I can remember was the "Kamala is for they/them" one and suffice to say I don't think candidate TV ads are useful signals of anything
I really don't know what to tell folks if they think any of these proposed reforms from Yale, or anything that we can possibly do here at UW - Madison, will change the Narrativeβ’οΈ from the right in American politics about universities. We're a century into this stuff. We're not the problem.
2nd amendment remedies for him and me both, just as soon as I get my LASIK surgery
did i hear a license to intentionally lock republicans out of power?
NEW: Raskin, w/ 50 House Dem co-sponsors, formally introduces a bill which would create a commission to assess Trump's fitness for office under the 25th Amendment.

Well that's two things I now need to make sure I get around to watching
In 1969 Eldridge Cleaver, leader of the Black Panthers, sought asylum in Algeria. Didn't think I'd get to enjoy the farcical reboot of that in my lietime
A new form of Black Islam just dropped
They've been selecting for truer and truer believers for a few decades now
Imagine the worst of the worst unreformed present-day college Republicans controlling DoD in 30 years and how much they might/might-not care about losing New York City. Doesn't seem a lock they'd care or not care
Of course, but I don't think it's unreasonable to imagine them losing 10 million to the "great satan" doing a war crime and still continue to function
I think you grossly overestimate how much the current belligerents care about civilian death.
May Israel-aligned US analysts tend to treat Hamas and the Iran government as functionally identical (I disagree), but the relationship between civilians and war as an end unto itself is very similar.
Asking Adam Silver to investigate the United States for tanking
Is their argument this age seemsβI'll go with the British meaning of "mental"β in some fundamental way
Yes it's a hard thing to poll for in advance but I've also seen zero sign the set of voters who drool for Trump in his personal capacity is smaller than the set of voters who claim their dissatisfaction with Dems is procedural

Tired: double entendre
Wired: full-bore semantic and grammatical ambiguity
...an army consisting of twenty-seven soldiers: eight generals, six colonels, seven majors, five captains, and one private. (Ozma of Oz)
So this was more a graffito than a cry for help, thanks
Wait youβre not just a bot
What is going on
Is Israel at war with Lebanon? Or is it Hezbollah? Or is it Iran?
And if itβs not at war with the people of Lebanon, why is it negotiating with the government of Lebanon
The leaked phone call revealed that Hungary's far-right leader told Putin that he was prepared to help Moscow βin any way" to win the war in Ukraine.

I absolutely hate how much of Trumpism puts the Star Wars prequels into a prescient light

To be clear, I don't think that would be a good long-term strategy - the lost goodwill would outweigh the added revenue - but if you are going to crash world markets *anyway* then you might as well at least be an evil bastard about it rather than a bumbling fool. π€·ββοΈ
I've recently been cluing into Chuck Todd hypothesizing that we have 2 or three more election cycles of convulsive dysfunction before some stable consensus (that I'll term "can we just be fucking done already") forms.
Timeline seems right. Apparently need boomers to age out for what comes next
(ah to be the sort of American that looks at this post as a timeline cleanse)
