Dorohedoro really finds every opportunity to make their characters naked. Like shit I’m not complaining but near the end and a character gets naked atleast every chapter

Perhaps making Michael a ghost. Or ambiguously Alive with us being unsure if he’s truly alive or if the evil has truly moved onto another host

I love it being shown how the towns trauma for Michael has essentially forced them to create another one but the second Corey does anything you’re immediately reminded that he’s completely overshadowing by Michael. I wouldn’t have minded if they did curse of thorn shit

His presence muddles things for me as I enjoy the theme of killing your demons and finally ending this curse but honestly Michael’s weird presence in this movie makes it worse

I don’t hate Corey’s inclusion I think he could have been done well if perhaps they actually dealt with Michael in the last movie or perhaps made this the fourth movie in the reboot series and make the third one solely about dealing with Michael.

Actually a little rating change it’s a 3/5

I like the reveal that he doesn’t give af about Laurie but the end was dumb. Just killing a character for the sake of it and while it’s a horror movie characters die, this one felt weirdly out of place in a way I cannot describe.

The movie takes on a much more dark and bloodier tone too represent the towns lingering trauma and resentment but it does nothing with it. The payoff is that you get to watch Michael be uncharacteristically cruel where usually he would go for simple and clean kills he now tortures

A very fun movie but it didn’t really click for me. I’m not going to say that it was bad but it certainly wasn’t my favorite but I think it manages to create super fun and exciting fights as well as a fun alien plot
