I've taken several courses over the years and become moderately able in a few programs but without the series experience to cement that knowledge it all gets forgotten, and ultimately feels pointless.

It's beyond frustrating that being a prospective hire as an animator these days means being fluent in half a dozen animation programs, and being able to deploy those skills right off the bat. I don't understand how anyone can do it.
