I gotta get more active over here. You folks seem like such nice people. :)

If there were ever a book cover to describe me, well, it’s almost certainly this one. Probably a lot of you too. :)
I present to you the newest addition to my TBR pile. :)
@theresisters.bsky.social sat down with @docmcohen.medsky.social and had a fascinating discussion about the history of the wellness industry.
This article was a real eye opener about it roots. Txs @geoffypjohnston.bsky.social for shouting out the episode.

However you celebrate or don't celebrate this season, may your bookcase be full, your dopamine meter by topped out, and the bullshit you have to deal with be at a minimum.
Happy Holidays. :)
I am sorry he is disrespecting you and your profession like this, he is a truly disgusting man.
My response to this terrible Telegraph article.
Rob Reiner either made your favorite movie, or made somebody you know’s favorite movie. If you’re a Californian, he’s also part of the reason you or your friends can get married. He has changed more lives for the better than this asshole commenting on him ever did.
Still in a state of shock trying to process the tragic loss of one of the most gifted men in the entertainment industry & his wife when the Embarrassment-in-Chief disgraces common human decency with this repulsive, deranged statement.

Them: You're not buying new books, are you?
Me: Absolutely not. These books were published years ago.
(Not my joke, I wish, credit to @RAPubCollective.)
Just crossed the 4k listing mark. Most of these books have been saved from basements and bins. :)
I feel good about what I am doing with my life, and for me, that’s enough, you know? :)
Encouragement received! Thank you! :)
I might finally be ready to leave Twitter. :(
Public health: "We must do something about all this disinformation out there"
Also public health: "Here's a bar of soap to handwash your way out of COVID"
Been pushing this show off, over 600 books, but we finally got it locked in, and it fires tonight, 5:45PM. Pre-bids are ready to go, descriptions and photos for each one. 🙂

In the continuing story of HHS Secretary RFK Jr.'s efforts to eliminate vaccines, we look at one of his useful idiots, CBER Director Dr. Vinay Prasad, and his email laying out how FDA will weaponize dead children to justify making vaccines harder to approve. sciencebasedmedicine.org/rfk-jr-is-de...
Folks, it’s rough out there, so, a bit of book dopamine for ya! :)
1st Edition, 4th print. Gorgeous cover and makes me think of Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt and simpler times. :)
Love this latest Public Health is Dead episode from @DaniAtomicus with @juliadoubleday.bsky.social & @wanderingkayli.bsky.social
A perfect breakdown of how media manufactured consent for mass disability, death & the "vax and relax" Covid narrative

Well, reasonable people see through them, at least today.
But they are skilled propagandists and if I just woke up from a 5 year coma, I’d find them very compelling.
They speak with certainty and in scientific jargon.

Covid kills children.
Covid disables children.
Long covid has surpassed asthma as the most common chronic illness in children.
Vinay Prasad is a grifter and a fear mongerer and this will cost lives.

The universe delivered this book unto me. A sign? History doesn’t repeat, it rhymes. *makes bubble noises*
If you know me, you know how much I think we're in a new Dark Ages, and if you're not following the news about the CDC... Well, our acting director is now an anti-vaxxer, the top 5 or so folks resigned, they were essentially the glue that was holding that place together, there are mass walkouts, and the CDC office was shot up not too long ago. Our HHS guy, RFK Jr, is an uninformed, ignorant, eugenical nightmare man who is consistently making decisions that will lead directly to death. So, I thought this comic was funny. Also, this is the dumbest f'n possible timeline, and not gonna lie, I am pretty upset that we're here. For you, for me, for my very disabled wife, historically, if these folks are not stopped, well, eugenics doesn't end well for most folks. RFK and his team are failures, Donald Trump is a failure, and I apologize if this is offensive, if you are supporting either one of these men I can draw a straight line to their decisions, your support, and death. Unfortunately, as hyperbolic as that sounds, these are straight facts. Judge the tree by the fruit it bears, and the fruit is rotten, disgusting, and is hurting people. I am very, very, very upset today. #CDC #Breakingnews #Health #History

“[The] CDC basically imploded yesterday and now it’s truly in shambles,” said Katelyn Jetelina, an epidemiologist and former senior adviser for the CDC. “This is a national security risk to Americans. Without steady-headed, evidence-informed leadership, ...

We expect this to be the last week of historically lower Covid infection levels in England. Because levels are increasing fast, and data tends to lag behind events, we are changing our advice this week to a more cautious approach. Our weekly updates will keep you in touch as things change.
