Number 1 on the Birdlist at Gluepot is the Striated Grasswren. Was lucky enough late in the day with @sandyhorne.bsky.social to capture this one. Out of 7 shots I got 3 in focus before it disappeared back into the spinifex. #birds #BirdsSeenIn2026 #gluepot

It’s all good.
Gluepot has had a lot of rain this year and there is a lot of water around so the birds don’t need to come to the hides.
There were very few birds at the Gluepot hides this year but did catch this White-eared Honeyeater shaking off after a dip. #birds #BirdsSeenIn2026 #gluepot
Can't beat being serenaded by Crested Bellbirds while having your morning coffee but..!!
Had an awesome Easter weekend birding with @sandyhorne.bsky.social at Gluepot. To see the Mallee so green was a special experience. Had to work for the birds but came away with 3 lifers. This Chestnut Quail-thrush was a special find. #birds #BirdsSeenIn2026 #gluepot
