Day 2 of Facts Matter: Affordable Care Act (ACA) is nicknamed “Obamacare.” It was passed under the first term of President Obama in March 2010. The first Trump administration tried to repeal it, and that attempt failed thanks to a few Republicans that voted against repeal.
Facts matter, and the way through this divisive time is having information that is verified for accuracy. Let’s help each other by making sure the information we think is true IS true. WE can then have robust discussion over policy but not over truth. (Watch for ACA facts over the next few days.)
