i have a high school reunion next week that i’m probably going to skip because i don’t want people to know i still live with my parents and only work part time.

feeling pretty down lately. i’m 27 and nothing to show for it. been applying to jobs and so far, nothing. have two degrees, one that’s essentially useless and one that i remember nothing useful about.

we’re never getting anything like Andor again, are we?

overall, i think this season was just as good as the first, if not better in certain aspects. people who were disappointed there wasn’t another shooting or major death clearly aren’t watching the show the right way.

superb finale to The Pitt. Noah Wyle , come get your second Emmy.

gotten into the habit of buying games digitally that i already have in physical copies. waste of money? perhaps, but at least I’m getting more room for movies on my shelf.

just watched BALLERINA. was prepared to write it off as a total nothing burger but the final act cooked—- literally. even mid tier Wick is better than today’s action movies.

one final thought; not quite sure on how i feel about how they work Angus Cloud’s passing into the show. feels a bit too neat to write off Fez as being in prison and Lexi refusing to call him. maybe i’m just too used to shows killing off characters after their actors die.

admittedly i found the Nate/Cassie scenes much more interesting than the Rue storyline, which is now seriously edging into BREAKING BAD territory. could’ve done without the toilet humor as well.

i’ll say this about the EUPHORIA premiere; it looks fucking gorgeous. had no idea they were using VistaVision prior to watching this, but it feels like the natural next step after shooting Season 2 in 35mm film.

rewatching Atlanta (because i’ve never finished the last two seasons).

don’t know if i’ll watch past the first episode of the MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE revival but it’s nice to see Cranston back in dad mode.
