Exactly wrong. Dems lost in `24 because Reps painted them as Ivory Tower freaks who care more about satisfying disparate demands of various constituencies than addressing core economic issues. Slotkin won in R+ districts (in 2018, 2020, and 2022) then won in the Midwest while Harris lost.
