Strixhaven prelease from Sat. I think I actually opened an insane Quandrix pool (including Quandrix herself), but I didn't prep much for this one and struggled a lot with having to decide on ~15 cuts. Ended up going 1-1-1 against Silverquill (0-2), Lorehold (1-1), and Witherbloom (2-1).

I hope the devs will listen to player feedback, but with a grain of salt - some people will never ever be happy and will always be wanting adjustments and microbalances for things they deem unfair. MegaCrit has demonstrated they have great design sense, so I hope the devs trust their guts with StS2.

This was honestly a concern of mine with Slay the Spire 2. The original game had a lot fewer eyes on it during development. Now it's one of the most popular indie games of all time, and the devs will have to deal with the insufferable cycle of gamers complaining about balance.

Added this to my brew recently and I think it's really good. You can grab a card like Sylvan Safekeeper to protect Hearthhull or a wincon sac outlet like God-Eternal Bontu. And if you have recursion from GY then discarding a land is no lost value at all.

TMNT Prerelease - Went 2/1, had a blast. I think the mechanics of the set are actually really fun. Went 1-2 against RU Artifacts switching to GB big guys. 2-0 against WB sneak where my opponent got super manascrewed. 2-0 against WB again, just drew nutty 2-3-4 drop hands and my bombs were v good.
