Digital gouache painting Constable Earstripe from T.Kingfisher‘s Saint of Steel Series. He is a gnole (essentially, badgerfolk), and is bipedal and clad in leather armour and carrying a spear.

Also a Nissan! My mother’s old early/mid-nineties red Nissan Sunny, which I got from her in 2004. It broke down in 2006 and I got a little green Toyota Yaris, which I dearly loved but it was completely trashed in an accident just a year later.

Kaladin and Shallan after killing the chasmfiend in _Words of Radiance_. The dead beast is lying behind them, luckspren flying up from it now that it’s dead. Shallan is bandaging Kaladin’s wounded leg with strips of cloth torn from her dress, painspren crawling up from the ground and latching onto his leg and side.

“Bind my leg,” Kaladin said weakly. “The rest of me should be fine. Heal right up . . .”
