The top 18 plays all better be from the playoffs and World Series. There were easily that many! Still this is like top 4.

Well, maybe a teachable moment for everybody else. :-) I’m sure the story is much worse than that. The theory of Vegas and money seems believable to me. The narrative after the draft was hugely positive. The odds of Dallas getting the number one pick in the draft seem too off to be a coincidence.

That’s funny. If only. But Achtung was so good and also so polarizing. That would have been a great cut quote though!

We must now start calling this what it is: Trump’s Invasion. It started with federal agents, it will soon include deploying federalized members of the Illinois National Guard against our wishes, and it will now involve sending in another state’s military troops.

Is the federal government invading states and violating the constitution “in a smart way”? People are asking.

Yes absolutely. Our city is a place that a lot of people don’t live in or even near. And with selected imagery from the past, it’s not hard to make people assume that Portland is as the government is describing. Even if it is the flimsiest of pretenses.
