i already am an admin of multiple fandom wikis, including ones that are terrible where it is my fault things got messed up but it’s too late to fix it

i found a good approach to one piece is to handle it like addiction... just start by watching the first episode, then maybe another

you can quit any time... try not to think how many episodes there are, that’s just negativity to think about all that

walter isaacson has clearly been part of the elon musk cult of personality, covering him uncritically, abandoning any critical thinking skills he might have... really makes me lose any respect for him i may have ever had

i appreciate real journalists, but that’s not what he is doing, if he ever did

oh wow sorry you had such bad experiences there... for me, everyday life was actually even worse than the psych ward at the times i ended up there, like real life in the real world really sucked for me, struggling to find a decent job or social connections, psych ward was actually slightly less bad

i actually liked being hospitalized because, well even though the staff was shitty, the other patients/inmates are so nice and i liked meeting them and getting to know them

like i am autistic and usually have trouble meeting people but in a psych ward i have an easier time finding people to talk to

mostly i chose that phone because i wanted my smartphone to last a long time and be future-proofed and have the best specs so i wouldn’t have to upgrade for like, 5 or 6 years

not planning on getting a new phone until this one stops working

yeah i got a 4k phone several years ago (1440 x 3040), they have been around a couple years now, 4k is still the top, but now the highest resolution phone is 2160 x 3840 which is still like, 4k, just a higher 4k, slightly bigger pixel numbers

i mean, i guess? like, 720 x 1280 pixels is almost a million, 1 megapixel is not that much, that’s HD but not full HD

my phone has 1440 x 3040 pixels though, that is a little more than 4 million, it’s unnecessary

1080 x 1920 pixels, a little less than 2 million, is standard, that’s decent, full HD

wait i didn’t realize it was supposed to be therapeutic, i think they even called us inmates

like yeah we would have group therapy talk sessions and stuff but like, we were locked in there and there were lots of rules and the cafeteria food was terrible

no phones or computers or electronics either

yeah my brain is wired a bit differently from most people, i have anxiety disorders and panic attacks... but i didn’t start having really bad panic attacks until a time as a freshman in college when i smoked a lot of weed, after also having cigarettes and caffeine and alcohol too... still affects me

actually, i felt like the word “inmate” describes what it is like there better than “patient”, like you are locked inside and there are pay phones and lots of rules, just like a jail

even though i am law abiding

but the other inmates in psych wards are cool and epic, i love them, such great people

the other patients were mostly nice people, i liked ’em, the staff was terrible, treated us like scum

after i got out, i got a huge medical bill for thousands of dollars which i never paid, they didn’t deserve a penny

they didn’t even bother with debt collectors

normalize cis people not having voices that match gender stereotypes challenge, difficulty level: impossible

now i know why sometimes people who hear my voice on the phone think i’m a woman lol

i like my voice tho, like if i ever decided to go trans, i already have a voice like a girl

i’m a cis guy but still, i already talk like a girl and do uptalk and say “like” a lot, would require zero voice training

as a yeti, i take offense to you implying that not being human is somehow a bad thing

i do like the aesthetics of that color though, it just sucks that forests full of trees that take carbon dioxide out of the air are burning and the planet is gradually getting uninhabitable... still, pretty colors!
