It’s been an exciting week in insurance AI regulatory developments. Massachusetts has adopted the NAIC AI Model Bulletin and Colorado released draft revisions of its ECDIS governance regulation that would extend governance and reporting requirements to health and auto insurers

With Oklahoma’s adoption last week, 19 states have now adopted the NAIC AI Model Bulletin. With the end of the year approaching, and the potential for the new administration moving away from federal regulations related to AI, it’ll be interesting to see if more states adopt the model or follow CO/NY
