The DM had Socket came back into the table top plot today via them mauling an old man (who was attacking one of the players) and they just look up at Cygnus only to notice he’s holding a plush replica of their werewolf form and Socket’s lookin’ at their bf like “I was gone for 24hrs-“

Hi, welcome alt context! Orion has an auxiliary spinal cord augment that he plugs into is heart that restores the physiological effects of certain emotions he doesn’t otherwise feel. This augment is very physically taxing to wear (especially because it doesn’t play nice with his connective tissue disorder) and it takes a lot of mental gymnastics for him to justify plugging back in when he’s feeling extra unwell on a given day.

I imagine what happened is Orion had an extra ticket and didn’t want to waste it so he invited Cyg fully expecting him to decline, only for him to shockingly say yes. Odds are Cyg will ditch him for the in stadium bars and not actually watch the game but at least the ticket got used!
