It is not. In order to protect it, it is stored in one of the underground, climate controlled areas. It can be brought out, but the more exposure to light, the more it will degrade.

I have a friend who works for a different school district. The district made a bunch of
administrative changes for the upcoming school year. They decided to hold a meet and greet this summer so the staff can meet their new administrators. It's not mandatory however, it's a day in August, not a scheduled work day for staff, only for administrators; no one will be compensated if they attend; they've been asked to contribute a dish from home for lunch; they've also been asked to contribute $5 towards lunch. I hope no one shows up.

A friend shared this on Facebook (Lives in NJ) My mind is blown by the asking them to pay $5 AND bring food. Of course I'm not surprised, but can't say I have ever heard of something like this happening. Anyone ever experience something like this before?!?!?

My response is always, "So you didn't turn this in in a timely manner, but you expect me to make this my top priority?", and include the classic "Teacher Eyebrow Raise". I then promise them that I will get to it as I am able, but make no promises about a timeframe.

Don’t make us write a DBQ about this

We could make a document set about why you should support history education.
Or you could just join NCHE for $60/year and call it a day.
