My hypothesis I mentioned awhile back, is after the spec sheets got leaked for the Switch 2, Nintendo chose to use Nintendo Today for game announcements and reduce Nintendo Direct frequency mainly because of the times their surprises would get leaked out to the public in the past.

I'm betting on the next regular Nintendo Direct to be in June and showcase game releasing for the Christmas period. I think this because the games we got revealed for the Switch 2 Direct last April had several games set for most likely Holiday releases, same with the Direct in September last year.

It's not a take that annoys me, but I've heard it almost so many times already. I genuine believe the Mario movie mostly was for the fans, hence many references may be obscure, but since I have played Yoshi's Island on SNES, I didn't have any reaction to Luigi being kidnapped.

This is not new. I have seen Nintendo remaster Mario renders from as far back as 2002, when the current Mario artstyle came out starting with Mario Party 4 (and to a lesser extent Super Mario Sunshine as Peach's dress had its current design, albeit in white and pink as opposed to pink and magenta)

Luigi not having much to do in the first film? If you're upset about Luigi being kidnapped by Bowser, I strongly recommend playing Yoshi's Island 1 because Luigi actually got abducted in that game. You can check it out on the Super Nintendo emulator on Nintendo Swtich Online.
