As a military brat, this is absolutely abhorrent - there's no precedent for this. Adm Lisa Franchetti and Gen CQ Brown have been roundly praised for their leadership, fairness, and responsibility/ethics. The president is removing anyone he thinks may push back.

This just screams unwillingness to do the work of disentangling federal funds from other #SAEM funds so that the work SAEM and its members want to do as a non-federal non-profit can continue. It just means it's not actually important enough to the leadership
