Interesting interview on the role of the Secretary of State with a candidate running in Indiana. I wish Blythe Potter all the best! @blythepotter.bsky.social. While we all think of Indiana as a “red state” having honesty around elections and the other SoS roles transcends parties.
I'd really like to see leadership calling for impeachment and removal, regardless of whether they have the votes to get it done. Same way we called for marriage equality before we had the votes. A leader's job is to lead. If a genocidal threat isn't impeachable, then nothing is.
Authoritarians go after elections because YOUR vote is their biggest threat. Don't let them win by walking away. Elections are our most powerful weapon-and as long as we have them, we must use them. Fight back at the ballot box!
