Democracy won!
Hungarians raised their voices loud and clear: “Ruszkik haza!” - Russians, go home!
We agree with Hungarians. There is no place for Russian interference in the EU.

Yesterday, Hungary chose Europe. 🇭🇺🇪🇺
EPP Group MEP Péter Magyar and the Tisza party have shown exactly how to defeat right-wing populists who thrive on division: with credible solutions, unity, and a politics that puts citizens first.
It’s good to see Hungary back at the heart of Europe!
Welcome back, Hungary! 🇭🇺🇪🇺❤️
A major victory for the people of Hungary🇭🇺 – and a strong signal for Europe🇪🇺!
This result reflects the clear democratic choice of Hungarian voters.
Congratulations to Tisza and to our EPP Group MEP Peter Magyar on this decisive win.

Antimicrobial resistance is one of the most pressing health threats of our time.
The EU’s new pharmaceutical legislation tackles this crisis with:
💊 stricter, harmonised prescription rules
⚠️ clear warning labels.
Let’s preserve antibiotics for future generations.
#WorldHealthDay
The EU’s new pharmaceutical reform puts you at the center:
✅ Better access to treatments where you live
✅ More affordable medicines without sacrificing innovation
✅ Stronger healthcare that keeps Europe competitive
#WorldHealthDay
This #WorldHealthDay, we’re reminded that health is a lived reality, not just a principle. The EU’s pharmaceutical reform ensures that every patient, regardless of geography or market barriers, has access to life-saving treatments. No patient should be left behind.
Pharmacists are often your first healthcare contact. The new rules empower them to prepare essential medicines and provide better digital information. Health starts where you live
#WorldHealthDay
No one should worry about empty pharmacy shelves. The EU is strengthening supply chains with "Made in Europe" medicines, so your treatment is reliable and available.

It is deeply regrettable that the Socialists could not support a balanced and pragmatic approach, especially when their own governments have already agreed to these measures.
Without enforcing return decisions, there is no credible migration policy.

The EPP Group delivers on its promises and on migration.
Today, the European Parliament adopted a clear position for a credible and efficient return policy.

"When energy becomes a weapon, it is our citizens who pay the price first.
We have a duty, not just a political one, but a moral one - to act, to protect," said @danusenerudova.bsky.social at the #EPlenary debate on Europe's energy security.
Our message is clear.

Today, on Belarus Freedom Day, we stand with the people of Belarus.
For many, this day symbolises their statehood and the enduring hope for a free and democratic country.
We believe that a #FreeBelarus without the dictator Lukashenka is possible, and we will continue to support that future.
The current Interim Regulation will expire on 3 April.
If no agreement is found by then, there will be a major legal gap in the protection of children from sexual abuse.
5/5
Voluntary detection has been instrumental in rescuing children from ongoing abuse and bringing perpetrators to justice over the past several years.
In fact, over 80% of child sexual abuse investigations have started only thanks to reports from online service providers.
4/5
It is a terrible crime, and one that happens more and more online:
‼️ Reports of online child sexual abuse have increased from one million in 2010 to more than 20 million in 2024. It is a 20-fold increase.
‼️ Reports of online grooming have increased 12-fold in just the last three years.
3/5
What was on the table yesterday was the prolongation of the interim rules that have been in place since 2021, intended to remain while a more permanent solution is being negotiated.
Child sexual abuse has evolved significantly over the past years.
2/5
Dear Socialists: Protect children. Not online predators!
We are disappointed that an agreement has not been reached to extend the interim rules on the detection and reporting of child sexual abuse.

Thanks to the EPP Group’s leadership, today’s European Parliament International Trade Committee vote paves the way for the EU-US trade deal. This is a vital step toward restoring transatlantic stability. We now urge an immediate plenary vote to provide the clear direction our businesses need.
Even in a more challenging global trade environment, our economic ties continue to grow. That resilience proves one thing: transatlantic trade adapts, endures, and delivers.
Now is the time to strengthen it, not hold it back.

“From the outset, the EPP Group pushed for the timely approval of this agreement, because businesses on both sides of the Atlantic need clarity and stability - not further delays,” says Željana Zovko MEP, @ZovkoEU.
EU and US businesses need clarity and stability. This is why the European Parliament must take an important step and finalise the EU-US trade deal to restore momentum in the transatlantic economy, now worth a record $9.8 trillion.
The @EP_Economics Committee approved @lidiafopereira’s Report on financial literacy and the role of finfluencers.
“Enhanced financial education guarantees true financial freedom for households and contributes to a strong Savings and Investments Union,” says @lidiafopereira.
Despite global tensions continuing to impact energy markets, Europe’s energy supply remains secure.
"The EU must take a structural approach in the long-term: accelerating clean energy, strengthening European grids, and reducing dependency on foreign actors,” says Christian Ehler MEP.
Europe must act now to keep prices low.
“Prices of fuel across Member States should also be monitored, and preventive steps considered by EU leaders in case of unjustified price hikes that exploit consumers,” adds @ferber.bsky.social MEP.
The EPP Group is in favour of new measures to reduce energy prices.
The current situation calls for a calm, coordinated and European response that benefits citizens and businesses.
