A four panel comic. Panel 1 has a brown anthropomorphic cat in a living room, in a chair, in a sweater, with a blanket over his lap. There's a blue speech bubble floating up from the space beside his chair, over his head and into panel two. The bubble holds a long, yowling meow, ended with three exclamation marks. Panel 2 shows the speech bubble ends at the open mouth of a Siamese tabby cat. In Panel 3, the anthro cat moves his paws from his lap, and speaks in purple speech bubbles. "Wow! Hi! What's up? What's all that about?" The Siamese tabby jumps up onto the blanket, with a blue bubble reading; "Mrah!!" Panel 4 shows her curled up on his lap, both of them purring.

Two women sit in casual embrace, lips close, one in shades of coral and the other in lilac. Attached to a collar on Coral's neck, a thin golden chain dangles between their fingers. The lingerie set split between them is equally golden. Lilac is wearing a lace bra that slips from her shoulder, while Coral wears a garter belt that disappears into her boxers. They are bordered in dark blue.

A pale blue moon shines onto the crevices of snow caught in pitch black branches, dark trees taking up most of the artwork. Silhouetted at the moon's middle is an equally dark cat, perched on a branch, with glowingly bright orange-yellow eyes. The cat is looking directly at the viewer, tail swishing idly.

An ink and watercolor sketch. A man on the sidewalk looks up in mild surprise at the cat who has just pushed a heavy flowerpot from the window over head, trying to figure out if it was aiming for him.

A man in a belted raglan trenchcoat. The fullness creates little pleats near his belt at his back.
A man in a single-breasted tan mac. He's wearing it over a brown sport coat and dotted burgundy scarf.
A man wearing a single breasted coat inspired by something French Army officers wore during WWII. The back has a deep inverted pleat.
Some photos of their Tielocken coats. They feature a raglan sleeve, belted waist, and one-piece sleeve. Design was originally made for war.
The Japanese brand Concetto seems interesting. They have a romantic mid-century vibe like Coherence (another great outerwear maker). Range includes raglan Tielocken coats with one-piece sleeves and French Army motorcycle coats with deep inverted pleats like Loden outerwear

Not so happy with this as I'd hoped to be. A combination of tiredness and my not managing the ink consistency well enough, resulting in quite a few areas of unsightly patchiness.

dig this home featured in the new architectural digest. it's a 1906 tudor in pasadena, originally built as a horse stable for a large estate and now converted into a home.
After my dad died I’d skip class, grades dropped, detentions stacked, etc. I still drew but I didn’t care about anything. The principal called me into her office one day, figured I messed up again, but she just handed me a box of colored pencils and said “happy birthday”. NEVER forgot that.

Just want to shoutout @tbskyen.com, it’s an honor to have our pilot absolutely dissected by every frame. Thank you, everyone worked so hard, you even shout out often overlooked departments! It’s so motivating seeing someone dig into it this much. 🙏🏻 Makes every second worth it.
Don't mind me, I'm just emotional about The Internet Archive on this fine Saturday. Wym there's this publically available collection of knowledge and culture FOR FREE?? I found all these art books i can't afford. A fuckton of corporate educational VHS cassettes? Paintings? Movies? Songs? GRATUIT???
Basil Rathbone standing on some brick steps outside of his home. He's wearing an overcoat that comes down below his knee. He's also wearing what appears to be gray trousers and black dress shoes.
A Suitsupply model wears a navy "overcoat," which barely reaches mid-thigh. He pairs it with a navy turtleneck, gray pleated trousers, and black shoes.
The effect of car dependency: in 1940, Basil Rathbone was photographed wearing an overcoat outside his home. As more men relied on cars, overcoats became shorter to accommodate drivers. Today, the right is marketed as an "overcoat," even if it would've been considered more sport coat length in 1940.
