so i'm out of sleep meds & i decided that meant i didn't need to take any of my meds last night. so i didn't fall asleep until after 4 am & it was also really cold overnight. then i had to get up at 5ish to take leo to work & took forever to fall asleep so i took my morning meds late and tl;dr: pain

Last week, my ex-brother-in-law lost his home in a devastating fire. Jeremy lost not only his own belongings, but also keepsakes from his family dating back several generations. Our nephews, Kane and Jordan, who have lived with him for probably a decade now, have also lost everything they own. Currently, they are waiting on insurance, but are in immediate need of funds for shelter, clothing, food, pet care-related items, and to help replace documents & IDs. despite being in first person pov, the main character names his brother multiple times in a scene where the only living characters are him and his brother.

triggering content (child abuse) overly detailed for my own taste FMC immediately describes enzo as a "boy" - rather than "man" or "guy" before she even knows who he is "little wolf"

audio book narrator ends every sentence like its a question & has the most irritating pacing even when sped up. may re-try in print but will avoid this narrator in the future

#booksky goofy question directed at book clubs who do ebooks: how do y'all go about getting digital copies to all the members of your book club? atm mine is "everyone find your own copy" if that means digital, audio, physical, whatever. but i'm interested in how to change that.
