I can appreciate what you're trying to get at but I think we both know fandom is typically based on organizations. The organization is bigger than the players, the GM and even the owner. The reverse of fandom will also be based on organizations.

The idea that baseball decisions, that are strictly financial, aren't made in a vacuum will forever confuse me. It's either financially wise or it's not... To factor in a budget is to admit you're making the wrong decision because you're poor.
