I do have images, but they’re so underexposed. Oh well.

Managed to roll with expired Tri-X and shot it in the park this afternoon. Possibly the first time someone shot a Meikaifkex in Europe ever?

Now what I needed was either to modify an existing standard 35mm spool so that it fits inside the camera, or buy a spare compatible one. I found a (relatively) cheap Photavit spool on eBay so went with the second option. I’ve just received it from 🇩🇪 , so I am ready to spool with live film!

This *should* work, right?

Looks too easy… with surely have a difficult time spooling in my pitch black bathroom 😅

Trying to manually roll with some used 35mm film… I need to calculate the correct length and if possible write down frame numbers

Cutting a spare 120 backing paper to 35mm width

Of course it is very basic: fixed focus, single 1/25th speed, only 3 aperture settings with no diaphragm but a mobile part with different sized holes

How it compares with a traditional 6x6 TLR

Of course you can’t find Bolta film anywhere but I really want to use it. There must be a way to spool 35mm film manually on this thing

It uses Bolta film, which is unperforated 35mm film with a backing paper. It’s the same spool as the Photavit format (which has no paper, but a specific cassette)

Someone brought me this as a gift from 🇯🇵. Isn’t this baby lovely?

No, it’s not a 127 format camera like the Baby Rolleiflex, it’s even smaller

I see people posting dyptichs for the world wide half-frame photography day, which is cool, but why stop at two frames? #wwhfpd (shot with Chaika-2)

Had a lot of fun hiking the Alps with my Nikon FM and a few rolls of Kentmere 200

Absolutely loved the results I got in medium format with orange filter (and the help of this glorious late winter afternoon sun)

First roll of Kentmere 200, shot in Paris and Strasbourg on my beloved half-frame Agfa, and developed in Ilfotec LC 29. Love the results so far!

Je remercie @odna.eu de m'avoir rappelé que j'ai ce sténopé panoramique qui dort dans mes tiroirs.

I used to be very happy with my Soviet Seagull too, I might dust it off for the occasion

Si ce sont des tirages pour l'expo à venir, c'est prometteur! Je n'aurai pas l'occasion de venir en Haute-Savoie en mars, je vais rater quelque chose 🥲

but that test roll actually came out too thin (not sure why really, but my film was slightly expired) so for this roll I have it one extra stop and a half

Now with regards to exposure... the ND3 is required because the Optima Parat's lighmeter has a max sensibility of 200 ASA. I shot a first roll @ 200 and developed it @ 3200 which should have resulted in a 1-stop overexposure...
