I had been referring to the project as "Grandpa's Gamer Zone Battlestation," which my family found very amusing. After getting everything setup my mom sent me a text thanking me for "grandpa's gaming area" lmao

Bought my grandpa a monitor and set him up with a desk and an office chair over the weekend. He couldn't see his laptop screen very well and using his laptop in his recliner was uncomfortable.

I bought a cheap keycap set because I liked the Y2K look of them. Unfortunately none of the spacebars fit and there isn't anything that fits the left CTRL, Windows, ALT line right on the board I want the caps on. Tragic. I'm coping 💀

Put your money where your mouth is and donate to organizations that will help trans folks in Kansas directly. Several are collecting funds specifically to assist those affected by the driver's license suspension.

Telling folks they should simply pick up and move to a blue state ain't it. There are many reasons folks can't or don't want to leave. For instance, KS has one of the lowest COLs in the US. For folks living on the poverty line, moving states could quickly push them from being housed to un-housed.

As a trans person living in Kansas, I implore those in the community and allies who don't live here or within the Great Plains region to kindly shut the fuck up about how "terrible" and "backwards" you think it is here. Fear mongering isn't what we need. Abandoning us is weak minded and disgusting.
