I'm continuously concerned just how little Democratic voters expect of Tom Steyer, and how clearly he thinks we're all stupid. So maybe he's right.

Ranking US cities by their enthusiasm of me trying to organize animation screening nights there:
St. Louis: 8/10
Kansas City: 3/10
Wichita: 6/10
Oklahoma City: 0/10
California: I’m leaning Xavier Beccera for governor, what say you all?
It’s a new scene towards the beginning where Tony Stark will say “I hope I never turn into Dr. Doom.”
Another absolute banger by the good folks over at @ani-obsessive.bsky.social
I was just telling a buddy of mine the whole POINT is the process-once a workis done its no longer mine, but everyones!

These scientists love being like “look at this idiot”
Building something that goes 15mph and calling it "Lightning" feels like they're making fun of it.
Coachella is trying to wipe all of the footage of The Strokes protest set so I’m gonna post it here. The last images on the screen made me cry.
I wonder how different my speech patterns would be today if I never heard the line, “We’re nice now! Take a look at banner, Michael!”
It couldn't run a full marathon?
Great looking "G"
shoutout to cartoonists.
We're still subsidizing these losers?
Oh absolutely
F FOR FRAMES, Night of Animation. Hosted by @classicbri - May 6, 7PM. Arkadin Cinema, STL. FREE. Poster has a cute drawing of Orson Welles I drew on it.
ST. LOUIS! We’re officially go for F FOR FRAMES: Night of Animation on May 6
I’ll be screening my short “LOOK OUT!” and I’ve been inviting a bunch of talented St. Louis animators to join in. (And if you’re an animator from the STL or KC areas, get in touch!)

I’m glad the Statue of Liberty showed up for this DC event
Not to bring up old wounds, but I was a volunteer on the Katie Hill campaign and I'll never forget watching the world fall down around her at the slightest hint of scandal.
In contrast, the amount of grace being given to Eric Swalwell is sick.
You should read my comic about middle aged magical girls fighting fascists from outer space. It's good. I'm very good at comics.
Can't get enough of it. 2025 had 2 major blockbusters featuring scenes getting dangerously close to blackholes
We’ll rent a couple Arri 416s. What’s the going day rate for those in NY?
I’ll be in Rochester on April 30. I’ll plan a heist of film stock.
I'm even more excited about @lackadaisyshow.bsky.social — but keep in mind, as a fellow early '00s webcomic guy, I will always cheer for one of our own.
And I don't even think they pushed the online date back, right? My understanding is this is just a bonus early premiere.
OK, how's this— let's both get 16mm 400' magazines. I shoot my part in LA, you shoot yours in NY. Edit them together into a short film.
OH RAD!
I really like Digital Circus— I watched the pilot when it came out but didn't know there were new episodes until about a month ago. The animation quality in that last episode was nuts.
OH my goodness, it'd be like it's its own character!
No, I'm saying if someone says they're poor, I usually believe them. This is not coming from a voter perspective. It's a "I have several friends who can't make ends meet and are behind on rent" perspective. A "2025 was the worst financial year of my life, and 2026 will likely be worse" perspective
I guess math-funded-by-rich-people wins again.
Thanks, Matt. We'd do it, but we're broke!
Now it's the reverse, we're being told the economy is great, but if you ask any of us, we'll tell you it's terrible. Seems to be, the lesson in both cases is "How it feels, is probably the reality, despite what's being propagandized."
