Don't tempt them into another schism.
The truth is that comparing CAs vs CMAs is ridiculous

A quirk of comparing a small town "Census Agglomeration" vs a large "Census Metropolitan Area"
Orillia is basically fully built out in its area, while "Toronto" includes large tracts of Greenbelt.
The Toronto "Be More Dense Than Stratford" Challenge
Calm down, computer software isn't making decisions about who lives and who dies in war. It merely processes a ton of data and then makes a recommendation to a human who has no realistic way to verify it
I totally understand why the movie cut it out, but this does explain the book subplot of the dozen cats on Grace's ship.
When I went to an infosession like... a year ago (where that slide came from,) they said as much that elevated would be considered.
A lot of random car honking around my Avenue Rd North bus....
Did some sports team win a game?
Kinda just like the modern child's toy record player (now that they aren't actual music boxes anymore 😕)
An orange kidseat for a bike. There are croissant crumbs left at the scene of the crime
I had a croissant. I took a bite, then put it down on my kidseat while I helped my kid on the playground.
5 minutes later it was gone.
Did an animal take it? A child? That weird guy blasting music from his bike? Honestly!
A statue of a bipedal, big eyed, cartoonish elephant.
A sigh for Sharon Lois & Bram Playground
For months, I've been struck by the incredible "Elephant Show" vibes coming off this statue at this elephant and music themed playground in Davisville.
Today, I finally saw the sign.
I gotta assume total pessimism about every issue that's been going on in Ottawa
Downtown Kitchener viewed from a hilltop (McLennan Park) on an overcast early spring day, with light hitting a few of the towers downtown. A new low-rise apartment complex and the park is on the foreground
Kitchener skyline isn’t a bad start, could use some more to fill it out and maybe some more distinctive looking elements
And apparently they recently announced new weekday trains that enable proto-reverse commutes!
10:26 arrival in Kitchener
15:43 departure to Toronto
For a 5 hour daytime work window. Works for a "meetings in KW" kind of day.

The announcement is focused on Stratford, which, of course. Weekend trains to Stratford for the Festival has been an obvious move forever.
But it brings with it Guelph and Kitchener, which will absolutely juice up the value of the line.
Car headlights beam through the fog
People in sharp definition in front of a fuzzy foggy glowing light background
Cars emerging from the dark fog in the distance. A Cineplex sign glows in the top right
Foggy morning. It was quite an experience coming out of a movie last night.
Downright Silent Hill out there.
Watch out for pyramid heads.
King West is amazing because is simultaneously follows and does not follow the naming guideline.
Don't use cardinal direction modifiers.
Do use neighbourhood names.
A real pillar of the Kitchener-Waterloo theatre scene, Nadia Ursacki, passed away recently from cancer. I did a lot of amateur theatre with her, and so did many others.
Her memorial (starting in a few minutes) is being held in the second-largest theatre in the region.

This is why I am not an absolutist for “every travel mode needs its own separate space on every street”. There are other ways to solve that while being safe for pedestrians, if we are serious about it:
Why is Ontario instituting minority rule?
Millions of Ontarians will find themselves living under minority rule. That most basic measure of democracy — minorities may be protected but otherwise majorities decide — will not apply across a huge swath of this province. www.tvo.org/article/anal...
My reaction to that would be "oh fuck Trump gets elected in Nov 😨; but wtf how bad is the next Republican president after him???"
Reminder: All the amazing high quality video you’re seeing from the Artemis II mission is being transmitted back to Earth using a laser communications system first tested with a video of a cat named Taters
youtu.be/GvJtVOmFs5Q?...
A screenshot of the Youtube live stream of the Artemis Two mission, it shows the Artemis 2 craft on the far left lit by the sun, and in the middle of a completely black background is Earth, looming fairly large half shadowed, with the brightly lit part showing blue ocean interlaced white clouds
hey kids
you may want to tune into the NASA livestream for the Artemis 2 mission
it's rapidly approaching home and the earth is getting *big*
