Maysa Baroud takes up one of the most important questions unaddressed in mainstream coverage on Lebanon: How does the govn and citizens treat the nearly 1.5 Syrian refugees in Lebanon? And what will happen to them after the Syrian revolution?
A prime example that the founders of political Zionism, here Thedor Herzl (1860-1904), had little regard for the inidgenous (unmentioned, Palestinian) population. They wanted them gone.
