Spending time reviewing portfolios was one of the most fulfilling moments for Ironroot at GDC Festival of Gaming this year. Nurturing talent is key in order for video games to grow. Thank you @igda.org for the opportunity!

Ironroot Games had an amazing time at GDC Festival of Gaming. What really made it special was spending time with our team. Human connection is what keeps us grounded. (Pun intended.) We also found a street art sculpture that really speaks to us. Can you guess why?
What music do you listen to when you work? We're wrapping up the week by jamming to XGALX.

Our furry guy has a name!
Introducing: FeLix the Ogre!
Named by @karenjohana.bsky.social, not only does his name mean “lucky, successful,” but "FeLix" includes the atomic symbol for iron (Fe).
We couldn’t have asked for a more auspicious name for our mascot!
Big thanks to GamesIndustry.Biz, Vic Hood, and Lewis Packwood for featuring Ironroot Games. It's exciting to share more about the studio, our team, and the direction we’re heading as we continue building our first project.
We’re just getting started and look forward to sharing more in the future!
Happy Holidays from all of us at Ironroot Games! Thank you to Gabrielle Snow for the beautiful art.
…and of course for our little ogre mascot! Here’s some “internal fanart” that Gabrielle Snow did of the logo she designed. What a cute little fella!
Which has us thinking… does this ogre need a name?
It means so much to hear so many kind words of encouragement as we embark on this journey, and we just wanted to say thank you so much for the outpouring of support for our brand new studio!
