Bluesky is made with AI, the engineers and even some non-engineers use Claude code

We hear the concerns about AI. Our goal is to use this technology to give people greater control, not to generate content. Attie uses AI to help you create custom feeds without having to know how to code.
Hi friends, if you’re in San Francisco, I’m hosting this event on Nov 10 for anyone interested.
We’re going vibe code a game and a game trailer (or cut scene) all at the same time. That same night, we’ll play the games and watch our videos.
Beginners and advanced folks welcome!

In the last 20 yrs, good music has exploded, giving rise to DJ’s who mix, remix, curate and “perform” other people’s music. DJ’s are elevated to music producer/musician levels, desirable artists to see and watch live.
I think the equivalent is coming to AI content. We need AI content DJ’s.
Unsurprising.
Is it just me or is Bluesky dead for AI content? Threads and Twitter are much more vibrant.
Example of person who doesn’t understand machine learning research very well pontificating about AI. Where are the well-researched AI folks on Bluesky?
Now that Sora is out, it’s worth addressing the leak letter that came out a few weeks ago. As a person in the alpha creator program, I thought I was frankly a disingenuous letter. But of course, I’m biased. But here’s my caveats.

If you follow me but don’t like my posts, why did you follow me? Bluesky surfacing algo is meh.
I’ve been quietly shipping YouTube videos without sharing to social media, seeing if I get picked up by the algo. Last week, this video on AI commercials popped off! I was really surprised.

Wow. Excited to see the big 3 of China jumping into the fray.

That’s very fair, but I am guessing most of the real action in certain industries still happens on Twitter.
So how healthy is the Gen AI creative community on BlueSky?
Wow. I stand corrected. What are people loving about Bluesky that’s not happening on Threads?
I think it’s unfortunate that social media is so unoriginal that we all get excited about another Twitter clone. Twitter launched in like 2006. It’s 2024.
Wait. So who owns Bluesky?
My problem is I’m tired of the competition. At least there’s three now but I’m not sure I actually need all this.
Crushed yet another Gen Battle today! I absolutely love to help new creators find their voice with AI. Last night, we had over 50 people, split into 8 teams, creating short films in less than 3 hrs! The results were amazing, as usual.
Been seeing and hearing this joke a lot lately but I am betting that Elon gets more than just this role in the Trump government. After all, he has an AI, space, EV, and automation agenda.
Damnit. People are here now huh.

This is how I work on decks.
“No!” he thought, “my hand…it’s steel. I can’t feel anything. What’s happening to me?!”
I’m over 48 hr film fests. It’s time for weeklong, monthlong, and longer. It’s not worth the lack of sleep, creative shortcuts, and more. More coming soon.
In the same way meditators go on meditation retreats to hone their craft, deepen their practice, and hit new meditative milestones, I think AI artists should go on long creative Gen AI retreats to deepen their prompting practice with the latest AI tools.
I want to go to conferences where not everyone on stage is a well known or famous or a thought leader.
