I may have to look them up.
How did I not know Skelton's guide was a thing? I used to be a Skelton!
I hope you feel better soon x
I have been known to read Dracula while cuddled up in an old train drivers cottage in Whitby with a good view of the fret-bound Abbey on the cliff top from my window though. I even bought my gold edged copy from an old Whitby bookshop with a creaky spiral staircase. That was a good day.
I do this all the time!
Going to see @profaliceroberts.bsky.social tomorrow and I can't wait :)
Imagine reading all but one of his books and not learning a single thing!
My baby* passed her grade 5 flute exam and I'm so proud :D
*She's 15.
This was amazing ๐๐๐ฅช
The post-migraine hangover is horrible. I'm on day 3 I think now and beginning to wonder if it's actually a bug :( I didn't know it was called a postdrome.
I love my self closing boot! I'm 5'1" so it's saves me hanging off the boot lid trying to pull it down and saves broken nails too.
I love nerdforge! They did a 6 foot long book nook which I would love to try.
I am sending you all my best wishes. My blood oxygen still isn't great - it sits sound 93%. Most of my problems were to do with breathing - but I'm coping so far.
Quietly excited that I finally - after more than 4 years - seem to have recovered from my long covid enough that I can tolerate gentle exercise. That, together with a diet means I've lost almost a stone already. Please let it continue ๐
#GNUTerryPratchett The Glorious 25th means just 2 more days until my birthday too :)
Only beaten (for me) by Labyrinth
I think I might live near his cousin ๐
Good taste that child! A classic.
Good news - we got the last of the boxes out of storage so all my stuff is home and we're saving a couple of hundred quid a month in fees.
Bad news - I now have eleventy-billion boxes to unpack and I have to find homes for it all!
You're a legend Rhianna
We have a Premier Inn-sect in the garden ๐๐ชฒ๐ชณ
I'd choose Darcula's bench on Whitby's North cliff looking over the North sea and the harbour and imagining a big black dog leaping from a wrecked ship and running up the 101 steps to the Abbey that I can see in front of me. Then fish and chips at Magpie's when it gets too cold.
Bought a disco cauliflower
Totally Meghan-ing Biggest's birthday shenanigans this weekend ๐ #MeghanSussex
Happy Pi Day ๐ฅง๐๐ฅง
#GNUTerryPratchett. You are so, so missed.
Sending hugs Rhianna. GNUTerryPratchett
I've had a lovely weekend. Saturday morning was a visit to parkrun I've never done before with a friend followed by watching her swim and then grabbing breakfast. Today I've pottered and tidied and put my world to rights. Now it's time for the Great Pottery Throwdown #happysigh
Enjoying the Meghan thing. Yeah it is occasionally cringey but otherwise it's my idea of heaven - huge, gorgeous house and garden, tonnes of money, looking beautiful and swanning around gardening, crafting, making amazing food and drinking champagne. What's not to love?
