Not so bad out here in the Hutt Valley. It was worse on Saturday out here. Fair amount of street flooding and I think a few places in Stokes Valley were evacuated, but nothing as bad as what hit Wellington last night/today.

The centre of Cyclone Vaianu has made landfall near the Maketu Peninsula. It will now cross the North Island before exiting this evening in Hawkes Bay.
