What would you ask 1,000 nationally representative Americans?
Verasight is at @sbm.org's annual meeting in Chicago next week (Apr 22-25). Booth 3. Behavioral medicine researchers get a free question on a national survey, plus raw data, weights, codebook, and a full methodology report.

Do most voters think AI is helping or hurting? We asked 2,840 verified U.S. voters.
52% say AI's harms outweigh its benefits. The breakdown reveals sharp divides:
-Republicans: 53% see net benefits
-Democrats: only 43% agree
-Men: 54% positive vs. women at 44%
The more politically engaged someone is, the more they want AI regulated.
Verasight surveyed 2,840 verified voters. 57% favor significant regulation. Among primary voters, 71%. Confirmed voters outpace non-voters 59% to 50%.

The PES dataset features: 8,124 respondents (CA, MI, NV), real-time data in active primary windows, registration-based sampling (RBS), validated turnout metrics
A resource for studying voter decision-making. (3/3)
Congrats to Sarah E. Anderson, Daniel M. Butler, Laurel Harbridge-Yong, and Verasight’s @peterenns.bsky.social & Jacob E. Rothschild.
Verasight managed the data collection to provide a high-resolution look at the 2024 primary electorate. (2/3)
Primary elections shape candidate selection, but research is often limited by small samples and retrospective bias.
The Primary Election Study (PES) 2024 in Data In Brief from @elsevierconnect.bsky.social changes this with large-scale data collected during active primary periods. (1/3) 🧵
Excited to see 4 new additions to peer-reviewed academic journals published using Verasight data in 2026 so far. Click on the link to see all the publications using Verasight data.
A new study by Ana Bracic, Kayte Spector-Bagdady, Sophie Towle, Rina Zhang, Cornelius A. James, and @nicholson.bsky.social at Michigan State University, published in @jamanetworkopen.com, uses Verasight survey data from 3,000 U.S. adults to examine what drives patient trust in AI-assisted diagnosis.
Researchers working with Qualtrics now have a free shortcut. Verasight created Doc2Survey to save time on one of the most repetitive tasks in survey design. Upload any survey doc, and Doc2Survey auto-structures the questions and exports a QSF file you can import directly into Qualtrics. All free.
Upload a document. Get a Qualtrics-ready QSF file back in minutes. Doc2Survey handles the conversion so you can skip the manual build. Free from Verasight. Learn more about Doc2Survey: https://www.verasight.io/doc2survey
And the Strength In Numbers/Verasight poll was also on CNN earlier today! edition.cnn.com/2026/04/04/p...
@cnn.com's latest analysis of voter regret features data from a Strength in Numbers polling by @gelliottmorris.com | Verasight. The survey found 13% of 2024 Trump voters now express regret, double the rate for Harris voters. Among Hispanic voters & voters under 30, that number rises to 16% & 17%.
Copy. Paste. Review. Done.
Doc2Survey turns your Word or Google Doc into a ready-to-launch Qualtrics survey, cutting survey programming time from hours to minutes.
And it's free. 🎉
Example of how Doc2Survey automatically converts a survey drafted in a Word/Google Doc to a fully programmed Qualtrics .qsf file.
Here's a simply example of how Doc2Survey automatically converts a survey drafted in Word/Google Doc into a fully programmed Qualtrics (.qsf) file, which is then ready to be launched. Available free to all researchers: www.verasight.io/doc2survey.

Benjamin Leff, Verasight's Co-founder and CEO, was on @scrippsnews.bsky.social today discussing our latest Verasight Strength in Numbers poll with @gelliottmorris.com. Inflation remains the #1 concern for Americans, with rising gas prices driven by the war in Iran adding fuel to the fire. Learn more
I wrote up a review of the literature last summer outlining these problems, and new research (such as work done by @gelliottmorris.com and @verasight.io, among others) has only further illustrated the inability of these tools to provide useful information.

Amelia Goranson, Director of Client Research at Verasight, thrives on the tough projects, especially the ones other providers have not been able to solve. From narrow sample recruitment to methodological and programming challenges, she enjoys the work that pushes the team to grow.
A new paper by @shnoh.bsky.social in Journalism Studies uses Verasight data to explore how news selection can serve as identity signaling in polarized environments.

One of the clearest findings in our March survey is how much consensus there is around AI regulation. 90% of Americans say artificial intelligence should receive at least some government regulation (92% of Democrats & 90% of Republicans). reports.verasight.io/reports/march2026-variet...
Verasight’s recent survey data is featured in @nationalreview.bsky.social. The key finding is that Americans are adopting AI fast, and growing more anxious about it at the same time.
Americans may be using AI more, but they are not optimistic about it. Only 51% of Americans agree AI will improve their daily life, while 78% agree that AI will lead to increased unemployment, & 52% say AI’s harms outweigh its benefits.
