Decided to upload the first game I ever made when I was 16 for GCSE coursework to itch. it's a janky lil Undertale inspired game made in ClickTeamFusion 2, so don't get any hopes up. it gets better towards the end!

Yes. Im importing the voxel models with their limbs separate into blender. Then I move the limbs into place and rig it so that the limbs are separate for weight painting purposes. That’s why his limbs conform separately instead of bending :)

Yeh. Ground up. The state machine my programming was refactors into is so over the top complex, everyone I’ve shown it doesn’t understand how it works, even the guy who helped me refactor it (Connor)
So I start again and make the state machine work simpler with my experience from this version

so in unity if you can set exit and transition times inside of the animator and state machine. unity can transition the animations automatically. It's kinda finicky though because if you make the timings on the transitions too weird then it can cause the animations to bug out
I'm making all of the assets, animations sfx etc myself
