Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Everything.
Shitty people in every profession. I just hate being painted with the same broad brush. One of the worst experiences of my life was with a vet (and CSRs) in an ER. That's a major motivator for me now that I work in the field. I expect more of myself and my coworkers.
its just funny to me that the avatar of conservative masculinity is such a moist subservient cuck
My niece keeps asking me about pictures in my office and they're all cats that have passed. Consequently, every time she sees a picture of anyone, she asks who they are, I tell her, and she follows with, "Did they die?" She saw this Sabrina the Teenage Witch trading card I have and asked. LMAO
I can't speak for everyone in vetmed but I can tell you that each of us at my clinic care about our patients like they're our own. We worry about them after they go home. We celebrate milestones and recovery. And it hurts so much to lose them.
I see a lot of comments online that vets are only in it for the money and other nonsense. Earlier this week I fought to stay professional on the phone as a client baselessly accused one of our doctors of making her cat sick.
One replied, "The trick is not even having time to process what happened because there's 10 other things happening"
She'd gotten takeout on the way home and hugged her cats tight when she got there. I cried into my cat's fur and made him take a nap with me. I had cried at work. I cried at home.
I'm a receptionist at a vet clinic. Yesterday we very unexpectedly lost a patient during a procedure, despite perfect preparation and every emergency protocol being performed flawlessly. It was a hard loss for everyone. I texted our assistants later that I couldn't do their jobs.
Convos with my niece last weekend included death, decomposition, and how God did *not* make her toys (emphasis mine).
Our clinic passed our AAHA certification evaluation *and* we got a new Project Cat today 🎉🎉🎉
I took ours out of the window when it cooled aff the other day then forgot to put it in the window yesterday. Thankfully I realized it before I left for work. I'm so tired of all of this.
If I can't be a cat napping peacefully in the sun, I'm glad I get to be the human making it possible for my cats to be napping peacefully in the sun.
“A country that can instantly fund endless wars but debates every dime for healthcare and education doesn't have a budget issue--it has a values issue."
A billion dollars a day going towards the war in Iran so far.
Heyyyyyy can we plan something? Please, pretty please?
It's on the stove here too!
Christ on a cracker, I forgot about this goddamn dipshit
Pete knows what's up!
It's not a new observation at this point but that wild Noem/Lewandowski story in WSJ really brings home the extent to which all the Trump 2 cabinet-level goblins see their jobs as flying private, doing short-form video, and screaming at underlings. They all hate each other and none of them can read.
Please note that she's READING this. She PREPARED this as a rebuttal for questions about Epstein. She planned this, had someone write it down, and read it.
One of my cats came trotting in from the other room so I picked her up and smooshed my face against her side. Her fur is nice and toasty which means this darling creature got up from her cozy spot in the sunshine just to find me.
What an honor, to be loved by a cat.
I am a pessimist about the GOP because they are unrelenting evil. I’m a pessimist about the Democrats because they’re weak and feckless. But I’m an optimist about the American people.
Elon Musk owns a website that generates child porn and was an eager associate of Jeffrey Epstein long after it was known Epstein trafficked children for sex.
How is anyone continuing to be associated with any of his projects companies or operations
Gov. Walz: "What side do you want to be on? The side of an all-powerful federal government that can kill, injure, menace, and kidnap its citizens off the street, or the side of a nurse for a VA hospital who died bearing witness to such government?"
I hate it as much as I love each of those things separately.
Bart Simpson repeatedly writes on a chalkboard, "I will not argue with ignorant old bitches on Facebook"
If Trump is willing to remove ICE from Minnesota if they hand over their voter rolls, then there really isn't an "emergency" need for them to be there. www.cbsnews.com/news/bondi-m...
I know it’s cliche but it’s literally true: we are the politicians’ bosses. We can fire them and we can tell them what conditions we require for them to keep their jobs. It has ever been thus. Make them understand we’re not asking, we’re telling.
Literally 10 days ago, this hypocritical jackass introduced a bill to make concealed carry easier across the nation to help "law-abiding citizens to more freely exercise their Second Amendment rights." www.hoeven.senate.gov/news/news-re...
Trump's militarization of Minneapolis and other parts of our nation isn't about illegal immigration. It's not about enhancing public safety. It's about destroying any sense of that safety—to intimidate political opponents, and to punish dissent.
