Airbrushing Cobalt Blue is pretty bad-ass. It’s gorgeous in person, the one time I saw 2010 on display
It was a barbaric time. Phones were tethered, magazines existed, and digital meant Compact Disc. Smoking was allowed inside The Mall and the best cup of coffee was at Mrs. Fields. If you said STARBUCK people would think you meant a cancelled TV show

They locked up about four grand just after it arrived from a client. No explanation, no access, nobody would tell me why or when it would be released. It was a possible security issue, 30 day hold.
We unplugged it from our ecosystem within 20 hours, entirely
I got burned using PayPal for our businesses years ago. We keep it open for the pipelines but I’ll never store money there

Today I wanted to set the stage for Cadmium Red Pale and Ultramarine Blue. The Ultramarine took a snooze more than I’d planned, but it’s a fun result

Front of a Musicland store, in the Lansing mall, around 1978 or so. Black and white photo
I worked at this very Musicland store in the Lansing Mall from 1986-88 or so. The photo is from the 70’s.
I was there the year vinyl was replaced by CD’s (mostly). So much great music launched into our brains those years.

An oil painting of the Artemis II Earthrise photo showing a crescent Earth rising above the Moon’s horizon
I loved seeing all the Artemis II inspired artwork this last week. We’ve experienced group inspiration, long overdue I’d say. Global proof that we can be better
Here’s the finished painting rim my livestream, largely unaltered preserving the spontaneity
