Yes. Even non appliances now, they have bins in the city that beep and they thank you after you close them. I hate it.

I enjoy talking poetically about my love for nature but also...hand on tree feel good. Face against moss helps brain. Noticing the different greens brings joy. Watching ducks brings goodness to life for me. Vast sky reminds me my head is smol and there's lots of places outside of it to exist and be.
Coping; just me trying to convince myself to go outside and notice leaves and moss everyday before I retreat to blanket fort.

Of course! Me too! We're all human, the mistakes are natural. We can all do the learning. I think it's great to keep talking and thinking on it all.
I find it big bleh yeah, I do think that people saying it are trying though or haven't thought on it so much and would want to know. I want to know when I use language that is unhelpful. We have so many options, formal to creative. Feels important to draw attention to it!
I'm sure that the majority of folk who say "ladies and gentleman and everything in between" have the best of intentions to try to be inclusive. It totally misses the mark though and I feel like it is becoming a more common phrase. We have creative autonomy over our language, we can do much better.
