Whoa where the hell did you get that banana at?

The political history of the U.S. since the 1970s is basically that thing where a species' predator disappears and the species overpopulates and destroys the whole habitat. If centrists really wanted a "Normal" right, their top priority would be to bring back the left

Republicans may lose both Congress and the White House in 2028. But if they can cause a long and deep economic downturn, they are likely to return to power in 2030 and 2032.
TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, Fox News, The Wall Street Journal, CBS, and CNN all have Trump-aligned owners. Here’s why US media has a liberal bias problem.

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops has been an arm of the Republican party for at least 20 years, probably longer (though getting to be less so now). So the "stay out of politics" stuff just makes me laugh.
Catholic leaders need to stay out of politics. Except when they are endorsing Trump or denying Democratic politicians communion.

Our leaders shouldn't be taking the Pope seriously in reference to policy because--well know--secular country and all that, but if they really insist on being theocrats, I think it's reasonable we also include the requirement that they not break from this mindset to do evil.
I maintain that among the media's biggest mistakes has been continuing to ask Trump questions as if he's a normal guy instead of asking things like "Can you explain who Jesus is" or "Describe the process of pumping gas"
