Our DSN Tracking now shows Artemis II

1 week ago 1 0 1 0

We assumed that the spacecraft codes used by DSN were the same as Horizons but DSN is tracking Artemis 2 as "-24" whereas Horizons uses "-1024". (In Horizon's -24 is Pioneer 11).

Artemis II – Space Missions Artemis II will be the first crewed mission around the Moon since the 1970s, sending four astronauts on a free-return trajectory in the Orion spacecraft.

Artemis II is up on Space Missions: space-missions.com/mission/arte...

We just need to adjust the location visualization to not be heliocentric :-)

Frame 2: Rocket assending. "Woohoo! We're on our way!"

Frame 6: Headed "One Year Later..." Same probes. The first just saying "..."
