omg i have this same thing also w a virgo 12H (immediately, like minutes after, i woke up from top surgery i apparently called my bank to ask about some fraudulent charges on my card lmaooo. i told the guy i just woke up from surgery and he did not know what to do with that)

truly believe colors are alive. like yes the orange leaf is alive, but Orange is also alive and you can have a relationship with them. i always say i adore color and people think i just like appreciate color, and no i mean i have a lifelong relationship w color that verges on devotional
i love being a transmasc femme. it’s so delightfully confusing to others which means it’s very precisely me
realizing that almost all venusian and jupiterian things are commonly seen as luxuries and as not necessary to life
in the meantime, i am so grateful to astrologers who charge enough to live a well-resourced life and also choose to accept even more money than that and direct it towards making spiritual guidance and magical services available to those who are financially under-resourced
clothes made from good materials & produced with ethical labor & environmental practices, food made from high quality ingredients or harvested with ethical labor also should not be seen as a luxury, but they currently are
HOWEVER, i don’t believe astrologers owe the public sliding scale or scholarship options. i want society restructured so these things we see as luxuries are recognized as necessities
working in schools, i so often see kids who have technically the necessities but are struggling in a way that has to do with vision—there is a lack of access to experiences that allow them to see what is possible & ways to bring in resources to make those possible. i see astrology & magic similarly
i think ppl see these as a luxury until they’ve seen a victim of domestic violence, too poor to afford a reading or magical service, at any payment rate, turn the tide of a court case because they were given access to them. even aligning with your purpose is necessary!
but, the way magic & astrology can change the course of court cases, the flow of money & resources, the accessibility of pleasure & purpose? i want those services to be available to poor & marginalized ppl
the whole dynamic of underpaying a practitioner, so i can access their services would hugely suck. like okay, cool, we’re both poor, idk who this does any good. trusting in truly resourced generosity rules
i didn’t feel like i was taking bread out of their mouth by accepting these scholarships & sliding scale payment options, & i was able to access services that truly changed my life
i was able to have these experiences while very poor bc my practitioners charged enough to fund their life, practice, & pleasure (you don’t want your spiritual guide worried about rent!), AND enough so they could offer sliding scale & scholarship spots to ppl who needed them from a place of overflow
i credit astrology & magical services with my chronic illnesses all but disappearing & so much good fortune & desire-aligned redirection of my life AND—
i struggle w calling astrology readings a luxury because of how life changing & saving they can be. i think high quality spiritual services are necessary to life. i ALSO want my astrologers and mystics to have high rates. why?👇

A friend in Portland is in an awful bind. They’re supposed to move into section 8 housing today but didn’t get the key. They need a safe place to stay to prep for & recover from their colonoscopy on Monday. As of now, they have nowhere to go.

1. Horrifying ruling out of the 4th Circuit.
An all-Republican 4th Circuit panel has just ruled that states can compel trans adults to "appreciate their sex" by enacting care bans.
It even directly says that trans adult care bans are legal in the ruling.

found out later from my mom that she actually had always despised men and that my older sister had long suspected that she might be a lesbian
in that time w her after she died, i told her i was a lesbian (it took 45 min to work up the courage). when i said, “i don’t like men,” and—mind you, she was amish—i was absolutely shocked to hear back “well who does” in this v humorous tone (NOT at all what i was expecting)
she had really bad migraines too, and so do her children and grandchildren
shaking rn…on this cap moon day, at my appt to discuss botox for migraines at the hospital my cap moon grandma spent her last days. i just realized it’s a year to the day since she died AND my appt is in the hours right after her death, an hour of which i spent with her body, talking to her—
you ARE the main character
