Looks like TikTok is already trying to compete with Neptune (or maybe I’ve just never noticed this before?)
I’m going to be SO ANNOYING about it to literally anyone who even gives the slightest hint that he’s to thank if it comes back.
6 years, 6500 videos… I don’t know how to not have TikTok. It’s such a regular part of my day that I’m not sure how to not just keep opening it.
I just… keep opening it out of instinct.
I have the insatiable need to inform everyone of the mundane details of my existence, so it’s really just a matter of deciding which social media gets the deluge of my life posts 😂

I’ll still be on it, I’ve got too many important things there, but it’s not sucking my data, and now I’ll just be checking it occasionally on my computer. No more boomer memes, no more sad AI… it’s gonna be great.
I did it. I deleted FB off my phone. I feel lighter, I feel freeeeeee.
I am desperately not loving having all these 20 new apps sending me notifications. If you’re trying to get ahold of me, good luck, because I have to sift through like 12 apps to figure out which one just popped up. Discord, Blue Ship, Astroglide, Hazmat, Red Tube, Flim Flam… could be any of them.
I also have to be honest, even if the ban gets reversed, I may not go back to TikTok. I’ve undeniably had my content suppressed on that app for years, and it’s crushed my desire to make quality content. I’m excited to get a start on YouTube, and I’m hoping it’ll prove to be worth it.

AND NOW THAT WE ARE AT THAT POINT, it’s gonna be gone. Now that this thing I invested my time in early before it was anything is big, I get to start all over as a no one on the apps that crushed it. Cool beans. 🫘
Suddenly corporate accounts started popping up, and real ads took over, and companies invested in brand deals and sponsorships, to the point that people were able to live entirely off of monetized videos.
When I started, no company wanted to run ads on it, and no businesses thought it worthy of having accounts, and no one wanted to put links to their TT in their accounts because it was embarrassing… Then, people started realizing it’s more than just cringy dancing kids and then it became valuable.
YA KNOW WHAT, as someone who jointed TikTok in January of 2019, and spent over a year trying to convince people to join and how neat it was, only to kinda get left in the shadows once it was mainstream, I’m annoyed that it’s only now being taken seriously.
This does contain meat, but it’s not from the animal you think it is.
It’s all just meat between the buns.
