First, I'm really sorry about this.

Second, this should not have happened. The whole incident showed the holes in the backup and restore process, and we took notes and will improve this.

Vikunja Cloud was just down for about one hour due to a maintenance upgrade gone wrong. We had to restore from backup and as a result, you may have lost any changes made since 18:00 UTC today.

Screenshot of an email. Subject: "Why the pride logo". Text:

I have been a big fan of Vikunja and my business has used it for a long time now, however there is no reason or place for the gay pride logo in business software. I realize it is free and open source software and you have the right to support whatever cause you see fit, just as I have the right to support or not support whatever cause I see fit. I do believe as business owners we should respectfully let other businesses know when/why we support or do not support them. My company will no longer support/use Vikunja because of the gay pride logo. I truly believe this is a terrible business decision and if you want to be taken seriously in the business world you should keep personal/political beliefs out of software.
