Actually no. It’s just silver metallics with ink. I often use base silver with a black wash, then a coat of ink. Then i highlight with a mixture of metallics and ink.
Lad is a little darker than I’d like, but you live and learn

Unfortunately i can’t answer that super well, since i didn’t assemble this since it was pre assembled and primed for the painting class.
But i will say that Gwenom is a later model and those GENERALLY aren’t as bad as the early models.
