Nith's "turns" or Nith drawn in very flat perspective from the front, the side, and the back, for a 3D modeler to be able to build her. There are various notes written all over for him to use, and there's an interjected angle of one of the horse heads with its mouth open, for reference. Unlike the previous concepts, this is for clarity and to answer any questions the modeler might have about how she is built. Her arms are out at the sides in an unnatural pose, and in the side view her arm is simply removed and replaced with an armhole, so the modeler can see her garment unobstructed.

So we had a target for Nith! And there were plenty of details to solve - here is her ortho! - but our character modeler is fantastic and enjoys solving things as much as I do. He's made each of my concepts his own at the 3D stage and the game is better for it.

The Killing Stone, a deckbuilding card battler by Question Games, is out now. Localization with the help of LocQuest.

Beat the Devil at his own game. The Killing Stone is a deckbuilding card battler wrapped in a 17th century occult horror narrative. Clean the sins of a cursed family by bargaining against a series of demons - and outwitting the Devil himself. LocQuest localized The Killing Stone into 4 languages: German, Spanish (LatAm), French, and Chinese (Simplified).

Two quotes. One from Michael Kelly, COO: “Translating our 17th century occult horror which is very particular about using period references and context would be impossible without professional human translators, who not only took time to research and understand the intention, but also took care to keep the musicality of the prose. The team at LocQuest were up to the task of preserving the little details that matter to great storytelling.” Another from J. Thomas, Lead Writer & VO Director: ““I'm lighting a candle for the hyper-committed, thoughtful translators at LocQuest.”
