oooh, I really liked when CrossCode did a similar thing. I might have to check out .hack

Lol yeah I unlocked those in Pragmata tonight too.
Been a while since a multiplayer game has grabbed me like it has. It only gets better the more I play, and each patch has felt like a big improvement too. Feels like there's incredible potential in bigger future updates, really hope Bungie are able to keep at it for a long time.
Hell yeah I almost put Spyro 2 on my best retro game spot but LttP barely beat it out. Also Deadlock is so damn good I confidently put it in my best multiplayer spot.

I really gotta get back to that but I'm deep in the Marathon hole rn
The demo for this was so sick
If we don't have the lengthy gameplay overview trailer with the British lady voiceover by June there's no way it's making November.
Pool Kids are a fantastic math / art rock band, they have a few albums and I love them all but the self-titled is probably my fave.
Skeleton War by Ephilexia is really nice mellow math rock.
No Drum and Bass in the Jazz Room by Clever Girl is a math rock masterpiece.
I've played about half of both La Mulana games, they're excellent, definitely take a bit of time and effort to vibe with how they play though. Really gotta get back and finish those soon.
Yeah basically everything you need is in the manual pages you find, there's maybe like one or two optional things that benefit from taking your own notes.
You say that but I've seen Hundreds of Beavers.
I'm hoping that's who Matt Berry is playing in this new one
It's so fucking bad dude, I've played enough of it now where I just can't take anyone who says it's their favorite Zelda seriously. Every time I'm a bit confused on what to do it's not some clever puzzle I'm missing, it's a random room where I just hadn't killed all the enemies to get a key.
Hell yeah, I was surprised how much I loved the Archer. The kick is a lot of fun and really good against certain enemies.
Wow that's way worse than anything I had to do installing a back button mod on my dualsense, but I guess I didn't have to touch the triggers for that.
This was before I got in on GB, but I've watched that bit where Jeff tricks Ryan into thinking they're doing the Bioshock 2 DLC and reveals it's a Game Room QL many times.

Chainsaw Man is over :) aftermath.site/chainsaw-man-p...
That shit drives me crazy, it's such a condescending way to write about games. Don't try to reason why a game you don't enjoy has an audience that loves it, just stick to writing about your own experience and acknowledge that tastes differ.
That shit drove me crazy the first night I played, why the hell do I need to do five button presses just to start a match? No idea why it plays music after you hit "ready" but still needs you to hit "run". At least they patched it so spamming spacebar doesn't cancel matchmaking.

Now on Nebula — TWO NEW VIDEOS FROM ME
First: Three games that end so spectacularly I simply need to tell you about their finales. A shooter, walking sim, and rhythm game that all manage to shatter their own realities. nebula.tv/videos/jacob...
oh fuck yes thank you Jacob for spreading the good word of Echo Point Nova. Booted it back up recently to do some NG+ and try out the roguelike mode and it was like coming home, nothing else feels quite like it. Very excited to watch!
It's very weird but mostly in a good way for me so far. Most of the dialogue is hilariously stilted and I think the quest structure sucks, but otherwise it's like a hybrid of RDR2, modern Assassin's Creed, and Dragon's Dogma that I'm finding very compelling.
Had both the Marathon and Pathways into Darkness demos on a PowerMac growing up, some of the first games to scare me. Some pretty fantastic freaky sound effects in both of those, especially the sound of the Phor.
A little encounter on Tau Ceti IV.
