The downside is I then worry endlessly that my voice isn't unique enough because another piece of work has walked a touch too close to mine. When I started this I wasn't aware of anything like it. Now I fear it's becoming a standard concept 😿

I'm going through another period of wondering if my writing is even worth pursuing. I'm lucky because I get to enjoy stories of a similar topic to my work across many forms of media that hits that fuzzy little spot in my brain that makes me wag my non-existent tail excitedly.

I was looking forward to this film and I've heard good things about it from those who've seen it, but I'd be lying if I said he's attitude didn't leave a bad taste. Why can't people just let others enjoy what they enjoy?

One of our cats, Willow, is a cute little space cadet who mostly enjoys her own company over us humans or the other cats. She loves pats but not being held all that often. Just now she jumped up on my desk (common) & I was blessed with 7 minutes of purr-filled snuggles from her (unheard of!) Yay!

ffs. Gotta love when they treat us as less than human. Always my fave thing about using a chair 🙃

One Cut of the Dead is possibly my favourite movie from what I've watched so far this year. It's a 2019 zombie horror comedy that has an amazing 37 minute one shot opener and the film is simply a ton of fun 😸

Yes! A whole group of cosplayers all dressed as Pokemon characters! It was so fun to see. We have different pride events in every state but Sydney's the big one because it's where our first pride was in 1978. They tried to get homosexuality decriminalised but the cops beat & arrested them instead 🤬
