(4/4) HB 2527 amends PA’s Controlled Substance Act of 1972 to provide Good Samaritan immunity for bystander use of not just naloxone (Narcan), but all opioid reversal medicines approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in the present and future.

(3/4) HB 1393 removes the statewide prohibition on the possession of fentanyl test strips, which until now have been classified as drug paraphernalia. Possession of these test strips will now be legal for personal use.

(2/4) SB 1152 establishes the Pennsylvania Overdose Information Network by mandating the use of the National Drug Control Policy’s ODMAP mapping tool in Pennsylvania. First responders must now report all overdose incidents into ODMAP within 24 hours.
