I watched a few minutes of this a few days ago and decided, as a 60-year old lifelong centrist, that the nation basically deserves, and in its heart of heart wants, a Farage/Polanski coalition.

It's the 3rd of January 1939, your name is professor James Smith and you are staring at a drawing of a fish. It's not a regular fish. It is a completely impossible fish.

My musical tribute to Dame Cleo Laine who has died at the age of 97. Such a great jazz singer. But not only jazz. Pop, classical, she did it all. I remember her performing He Was Beautiful (Cavatina) with classical guitarist John Williams. Beautiful.

Can Labour suspend her from the Co-op party as well? I've always been vague on how the relationship works.

Ignore Fraser. Of more concern to me is her refusal to publish the report of the investigation into the Chelmsford Cathedral shitshow on the extraordinary basis that 'people would take quotes out of context', which suggests an odd attitude to transparency.

I always thought that Swinson was unfairly bashed by the party hierarchy after the result, but as a very distant onlooker

I'd just like to say that any concerns had during the Labour party 2020 leadership that Starmer, based on his manifesto,
would be a Corbynite have been dealt with.
And that if you have a bridge to sell, please let me know....

We're stuffed. Why do we need 3 Reform parties?

anyone remember what the thing Eric Cantonna (?sp) said about seagulls that no-one understood? If so, what happens if you push that in?

I remember the UK Times Higher Ed Supplement suggesting (tongue-in-cheek) the this could be done when the British library moved.

After the last 10 years, somebody who can fix a church roof will strike a lot of voters as a decent bet, surely?

' So Isaac was comforted after his mother’s death.'
(Genesis, CofE evening prayer tonight)
Actually found my Rebecca 20 years ago, but reading this, in the midst of a surprisingly calm and blessed Evening Prayer the Evening after my dear Mum's death, was nice.

music ,mathematics, prayer, physical rest.
They'd have to work quite hard to take programming and religious worship away.
(I am rubbish at all of these , but that's not the point)

Maybe we're all looking at this from the wrong end. Maybe the prem need to give City few extra points to keep things interesting...

Sitting calmly at a desk, just wanting to carry on working. I know people oversharing this stuff is becoming annoying, but crumbs, knowing 40 years ago that about 25% of cerebral palsy people have ADHD, at that there are treatments which work quite well, would have been rather nice.
