Roger Egbert foi um crítico de cinema, tinha um olhar afiado pra tudo que diz respeito à imagem, e já tinha entendido lá atrás o que os autores dos massacres querem.

If we are already in the discord, something like that could probably be arranged! People already stream art and stuff there. I know lots of people are sensitive about video but that can be accounted for (using slides or something probably)

I know a lot of people are a little shy re giving presentations and talking and such and I doesn't replicate the experience entirely, but I think something similar is cool, and I like hearing people talk about the cool stuff they made. So just my SELFISH opinion....also, that's how I met oomf

Another cool doujin thing to do, may be not manga ichiba related but for the folks who couldn't make it, would be to do like an online event sometime....like what we did for SF Zinefest during the lockdown. Just do some zoom presentations where everyone gets in groups + talks a bit about their work

Might watch Heated Rivalry because Jacob Tierney directed my favorite gay Oliver Twist movie, Twist (2003).

One of my favorite Yugoslav designs is the K67 modular kiosk. Injection molded modular plastic building often used for newspaper vendors, coffee shops and info kiosks. Could be linked together like legos. www.archpaper.com/2023/01/univ...

Scrolling through the entries for this pose, seeing a very common error:

When drawing the head, the tilt of the head is communicated almost entirely by the position of the ears relative to the face. A downward tilt, like this, puts the bottom of the ears in line with the eyes, not the nose.

Got to see The Fugitive in theaters last Friday with my mom, a special treat since it's one of her fave movies (and mine!) she'd never seen on the big screen. What a fun ride, always something dynamic happening on screen, lots of great extras 👍🏼

So nice to actually be able to have time to DRAW and concentrate....it's a shame when it usually comes at the sacrifice of uhh pushing back or giving up on some other stuff going on. Trying to find balance in life but it's definitely tough

Titled "Shrimp Burrito", picturing a shrimp and seaweed burrito partially eaten wrapped in holo foil. Four panels. Panel 1 sea leopard taking a bite. Panel 2 Burrito already starting to crumble. Panel 3 Progressively blurrier as sea leopard takes another hearty bite. Panel 4 Very blurry rapidly eating the burrito.

An 8 page mini zine titled "I Had A Nightmare" about a nurse shark waking up from slumber. "I had a nightmare, something was after me, I tried to get away, I tried to hide, but nowhere I went was safe, I cried out, too late, No one could hear me, I woke up tired again."

I just re-found this painting, which was in a kid's bible I had growing up. I used to obssess over it, and I'm pretty sure seeing Lucifer here was the first time I thought a man was attractive? Over the years I'd think "it couldn't possibly be as horny as I remember it", but I mean come ON

Artists! Show what built your style

This is an old meme I had done already and pretty much only takes into account b&w but hey it's close enough since I have it on hand

Ya’ll, I just want to clock in and clock out. I want to make money doing what I trained to do because I’m good at it. We shouldn’t have to build massive online audiences and make super elaborate pilot animatics and TV episodes to get jobs. We’ve already proven ourselves. I’m so tired

I got onto the train to go into Paris after flying into CDG and on the train was a very fancy poodle, a couple kissing and drinking champagne out of flutes, a guy playing the accordion and finally a guy in a striped shirt carrying a baguette. It felt like a prank.
