email is terrible but sometimes you get a Cool Email, thereby justifying the misery. this is how gacha games work.

Were they…defying gravity?
I’m around if you want to chat but enjoy the movie otherwise! ^_^
Are you sad? :(
Hi I’ll be at Revoice again this year for the fifth year in a row and if you’re wondering why it’s so special to me I’ve written a blog post on their site here: www.revoice.org/blog/at-the-...
Yay for connections! Boo for random Asian guy as the thumbnail???

Man, the market for buying movies is a mess. What do you mean I can't get a 4K copy of Spice World? Why wouldn't they make that?
Let this be a warning to you all: nobody steals my charts and gets to be Prime Minister of Canada
And like. What’s the point of that *now*???
I am visiting friends this Easter weekend

The Beekeeper's Picnic by @jabbage.bsky.social is just the most wonderful thing. It's a Sherlock Holmes love story, set in his retirement village of Fulworth, and it's so utterly heartwarming. There's an incredible cast, and I adore everything about it!

I can’t parse out what is being communicated lol
I respectfully disagree. Well maybe I should rewatch it but I watched it at a screening and I was like noooooooooope. “PONYO LOVES SOSUKE!!!!” X100
Repost with a pic and your age
40!!!!!
That would be so much lawn work though!
5. American. For now.
4. Honestly I don’t post much. I’m not a “post stuff into the void publicly” type of person. I’m much more active on closed-down platforms like my private instagram. :P
3. I rarely posted on Twitter but I do check it.
Trudeau: I think Canadians are a little perplexed as to why our closest friends and neighbors are choosing to target us.
I don’t think there are a lot of Americans who wake up in the morning saying, "Oh, damn Canada. Oh, we should really go after Canada."
“What radicalized you?”
The Lord Jesus Christ commanding me to love my enemies and pray for those who persecute me, the desert elders, and any of the saints now in glory who told corrupt establishments to repent or die, actually
Maybe I’ll have another 40, maybe not. For now, I’ll take it year by year, and simply be grateful for the time I have, here and with you.
Love, peace, and God power!
❤️Stephen
For the shoulders I’ve leaned on and cried on, for the numerous meals I’ve been fed, for the HUNDREDS of rides I’ve had over the years, for the gifts I’ve received, for the songs you’ve heard — piano & karaoke! — and the dances you’ve seen, for the time that I’ve spent with you, thank you.
I believe that I am empty without my faith but also incomplete without my people. I am the product of my relationships, my connections, my beloveds. Some of them fell apart, and some prematurely ended, to my heart’s detriment, but some have endured for years, decades.
A LOT of you have reached out, which I appreciate. I didn’t plan anything big this week, mainly because of my massive belated birthday bash happening in the fall (that looks like it will have 30+ people so far), but I’d be glad to get taken out for dinner! 😁
Some revelations were not as nice. I realized what loneliness & anxiety were and how they affect me. I saw some imperfections glaringly, suddenly, as if someone sprayed Windex and wiped a mirror facing my soul after years of buildup. But I also felt a greater sense of gentle yet overwhelming grace.
First visit to certain places. First connections with new friends. First “conference friends” coming to #yeg, with one staying over for a bit (a true highlight of the year for me). First time interviewing a pastor candidate as part of a search committee, and on the flip side, first podcast episode.
It’s Blue Monday, MLK Day, and presidential inauguration day. And the day I’ve completed 40 loops around the sun.
I don’t want to overlap too much with what I said previously — there are only so many reflections one can have in a month, I guess — but there were so many firsts in the past year.
And of course I have a typo in this sigh
